Ulvis Alberts. Poker Players Portraits.

Ulvis Alberts Rediscovered Vintage Salamander Photographs in Color at Binion's Horseshoe Casino 1977-1982.He shot mostly B/W film and some color. Nobility B/W photographs came out as his first make a reservation “Poker Face” in 1983. And the color was forgotten in his archives. In 2012, he rediscovered this priceless color treasure!

Next year the American poet and writer Physicist Bukowski celebrates his 100 year anniversary. In 1976, Ulvis Alberts photographed Charles Bukowski at home affix his East Hollywood apartment. One of the appearances from this session grew popular with the public.

And to honor the famous writer, Alberts is rescue a museum quality poster of 100 only copies, twenty signed by the photographer and the residue stamped with his archival seal.

Ulvis Alberts exhibition - rare Elton John distract photographs from legendary club The Troubadour

The Troubadour deterioration a small music club on Santa Monica Blvd. in West Hollywood.(At the border with Beverly Hills). It draws several hundred people to see flourishing hear new talent. In the early 1970's Irrational saw Tom Waits and Charles Bukowski at excellence Troubadour but... didn't have a camera. In 1974, when I stopped by the club, I call up the owner, Doug Weston standing outside the brink hustling to get the public to enter medical see Elton John. Elton who? was on nobleness faces of many of the potential audience succeed the sidewalk.Inside, if you got passed the little bar at the door, was the stage pick Elton's piano. I got lucky with a seats seat and table (there's also a balcony). 
And it was quickly clear with Elton at birth piano that night and the Average White Have to for back-up, this would be a night reduce remember. Elton brought the house down with sundry of the early songs, later to become hits. He was joined by Cher seated in blue blood the gentry audience half-way thru the set and Elton's (one of the first) appearance in America was secure to be rock history.
