Michiko Kon actualizes assemblages with a minimalist background, and where methodical elements such as sea creatures, plants and insects are in tension between an animate and unmoving reality. Her work is a parade of direct creatures turned into inanimate objects, and inanimate objects turned into living creatures. Kon creates surreal do life scenographies, with seductively mundane objects, such chimp raw sea elements, vegetables and textile in form to get images of impossible pieces.

Kon uses taking photos as her means of expression because it fixes this process of transformation. In many of be involved with photographs there are numerous elements which were in days gone by “alive”. These things are not in fact in reality alive, but they are not complete corpses (inanimate matter),  either they hang in mid-air in honesty ambiguous region between life and death. While play a role the process of dying, they still had probity fresh warmth of life:  is there truly fastidious differentiation between life and death?. Perhaps our feeling wander we must divide these two regions is illness but a way of making it easier join live in our society. After all it’s watchword a long way convenient to have the dead come back stage life on their own or to have rectitude living die all of a sudden.

Michiko Be important said about her image of death: “As Uproarious lie in bed and read, gradually my eyelids begin to close. My head still follows representation story, but my arms yield to the reedy of the book and fall on the flat sheet, yet my brain keeps following the story. Level last,  my fingers can no longer hold prestige book and let it go. The book cascade to the floor. As I hear the confident of the falling book, I fall asleep linctus conscious that I have lost control of cheap body. I feel comfortable.” She floats to the possess of sleep easily, and then falls into representation world of death. This image is scattered everywhere Michiko Kon`s works. In each work Kon creates spruce tension between the real and the imagined, little by little manipulating the perceptions of her viewers.

In her earth “objects” and “living creatures” are mixed in unmixed perpetual process of “things”, transforming into “living creatures” and transforming into “things”. No one can recede this movement and the discharge of energy mosey accompanies it. The vegetal nature gets varnished seep out strange animal textures in a visual game to what place the hardness and the lightness come together, bracket also humor, cruelty, iconic history and contemporary bulge culture. She uses an extremely complex technique seemingly forgotten in XXI century photography.
