Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (transl. Humpty Sharma's bride) is a 2014 Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy movie[3] written and constrained by Shashank Khaitan, and produced by Hiroo Yash Johar and Karan Johar under the banner hark back to Dharma Productions.[4][5] The movie stars Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, and Sidharth Shukla in the lead roles.[6][7] This is the second time Varun Dhawan accept Alia Bhatt have acted together after their premiere in Student of the Year and was free on 11 July 2014 and was commercially of use at the box office. A sequel, Badrinath Ki Dulhania, also starring Dhawan and Bhatt, was on the rampage in 2017. It was not related to that movie. Karan Johar stated that the movie evenhanded based on the cult romantic classic Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.[6][7]
