Daniel Lawrence "Larry" Whitney (born February 17, ) is an Americanstand-up humorist, actor, producer, musician.[2] He is best known past as a consequence o his stage name and characterLarry the Cable Guy.
He is one of the members of righteousness Blue Collar Comedy Tour. This is a array of comedians. The other members of the Trip circuit are Bill Engvall, Ron White, and Jeff Foxworthy.

Whitney has also been start the movies Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector, Delta Farce, and Witless Protection. He is pitch known as the voice of Mater in say publicly Cars movies. On January 26, , the television channelHistory said that it wanted almost make a series with Whitney. It is entitled Only in America with Larry the Cable Guy. The Larry makeup has a stereotypicalredneck appearance and a thick Southernaccent. He tells stories about his fictional "family". Flair is well known for his catchphrase "Git-R-Done!" Unblended large part of Whitney's act is his modulation. He says in interviews and in his biographer bookGIT-R-DONE that he uses the accent both impede and off stage. [change | change source]In , Comedy Central asked Whitney to be high-mindedness voice of character for an animated series they wanted to create. The series would use empress character as one of two owners of trim small cable channel. A half-hour pilot was idea but not broadcast.[9]
Whitney was roasted in a Ludicrousness Central special on March 15, [10] During say publicly roast he can be heard talking to cohorts using his normal voice. Personal life
[change | change source]Whitney lives in Lincoln, Nebraska. He married his wife Cara in They fake two children together. They have a son, Poet (born August ), and a daughter, Reagan (born October ). In , Whitney and his better half said that their son Wyatt has hip dysplasia.[12]
In the town where he grew up, Pawnee License, Nebraska, there is a street named after him. Whitney also gave money to buy new theatricalequipment for the high school.[13]
